Leisure Link Up is an Access for All Abilities provider. We are professionals working at a community level to develop inclusive sport and recreation opportunities for people of all abilities. We promote and encourage sporting programs and activities in the areas of Frankston, Dandenong, Kingston and Mornington Peninsula Shire.
Whether you are interested in basketball, football, walking, zumba or lawn bowls our aim is to have everyone participating.

Pop-Up-Park Access Rugby
Come along to play Touch Rugby at the Pop-Up-Park (opposite Dandenong Station in Foster Street) on Wednesdays 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, including free BBQ, DJ and guest appearances by the Melbourne Rebels.

Blind Sports Victoria run a host of different sporting and other activities for blind and vision impaired young people.

Tandem Bike Victoria
Tandem Bike Victoria (TBV), which manages tandem cycling events for blind and vision impaired people, has recently established a link with a cycling group called YHA Cycling.

Dance Fever
Do you like music? Do you like to dance? Then come and join Dance Fever! Dance Fever meets every Tuesday afternoon during the school terms and is open to people of all abilities.

Sports and Recreation program
Enjoy exercise and make some new friends! The Junior Sports and Recreation program for blind and vision impaired children is on every Saturday from 20 April to 25 May 2013.

Western Port All Abilities Basketball Association Tournament
This year’s 2nd Annual ECHO Australia All Abilities Basketball Tournament was a huge success with a turnout of over 300 players, carers, families and coaches enjoying the day.

Easy English training workshops
Come along to one of these workshops and find out more about Easy English – a method of presenting documents, reports and websites that makes them easy to read. Easy English materials are particularly useful for people with intellectual disability, adults with low levels of literacy and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

Developing ‘Social thinking’ at home and school
Do you know or work with a child or adult who has social processing difficulties – they may struggle with social skills, working in groups or mastering academic skills and tasks. Social thinking can help address these issues. Irabina is very proud to announce that Michelle Garcia Winner and Dr Pamela Crooke will be presenting practical workshops on Social Thinking in Melbourne on Thursday 15th August & Friday 16th August 2013.

DisabilityCare Australia update
The Commonwealth and Victorian Governments have reached a historic agreement that will allow for the full roll out of DisabilityCare Australia, the National Disability Insurance Scheme, in Victoria by July 2019.
Leisure Link Up
Leisure Link Up’s Access for All Abilities (AAA) program funding will cease from the end of June 2013, and funding will instead be channelled through State Sporting Associations and the Regional Sports Assemblies.
Tai Chi
The first session of the new 12-weekVision Impaired TaiChi program in Noble Park was a great success with 11 participants attending the class.

Overcoming the Barriers workshop
'Overcoming the Barriers' is a workshop about cancer screening issues for people who care for and support women with disabilities. It will help participants to confidently discuss cancer screening with the women they care for and support. There are two workshops in the Southern Metropolitan Region – both include free lunch and refreshments.
